So for months now Jack has been obsessed with the Tooth Fairy and when he is going to lose a tooth. Well today I lost Charlie's pacifier and decided enoughs enough. So I made a fake note from the "Sucky Fairy" and it said that she took his sucky and that he was now a big boy. Well Jack was all over the note and wanted to know why a fairy didn't leave him a note. And then he decided he was going to knock one of his teeth out so the tooth fairy would come.... So I wrote a note from the tooth fairy saying that he isn't going to lose teeth until he was 6 years old and snuck it under his pillow. After like 10 minutes of him talking about Charlie's note I told him to go look under his pillow. And here's what happened....

My two little fish
The boys have been swimming almost everyday and sometimes also swimming in the hot tub at night. Tonight Jack finally worked up the courage the jump of the edge of the pool. He of course thinks he is the coolest thing since sliced bread. Anyways here are some pics and videos.

Pirates, Pirates Everywhere
My Mom and I took the boys to the Maritime Museum today for the pirate bash. So let me just say that we saw that there was a costume contest for kids so that got the wheels spinning that we needed to find something for the boys to wear, which turned into my Mom handmaking full pirate coats and pants for both boys. Which took nearly 2 weeks and were only completed last night at like 10 pm. But the hard work paid off and Jack won the costume contest..mostly because I think he had the best arrrrrr. He got a great pirate sword as a prize and he hasn't stopped talking about it...even now 3 hours later. We got extra tickets to go on a Sword Fight at Sea sailing pirate show. This was amazing! The pirates interacted with the kids, they had cannons that shot water, they gave out coins, sang pirate songs, fake bombarded ships and of course had a sword fight. We are exhasuted...I am on my second cup of coffee and will be refilling while the pictures load.
Jack looking thrilled to be all dressed up. LOL
They started warming up to the pirates once we got on the ships and they showed them their swords.
The boys took to this pirate, and this guy remembered their names all day and made sure to make them feel extra special. Charlie of course was chasing him down with his sword harrassing the heck out of him.
Jack waiting for the costume constest results. Thanks goodness he won because he probably would have lost it had he not. Maybe the lady judging sensed that....LOL
All the dressed up boys on the Star of India with the pirates.
Posing with the pirates that ended up being the ones from the show on the ship.
Charlie looking for pirates.
Shooting cannons.
This pirate had to swab the deck and then he pushed the mop after Charlie...he thought it was great.A pirate trying to get Jack to drink his Ale. Jack thought that was so funny.
Me posing with the best looking guy on the ship.
Jack chasing off a pirate during the show.
Charlie harrassing his favorite pirate.
A bit of the pirate fighting.

A party that took the cheese....LOL
Today we went to the boys friends Jaiden's 4th birthday party at Chuckee Cheese. Of course we are there at the crack of dawn right when they open and quickly took over the place. The boys had a blast and were so excited for Jaiden. Here are some pictures and hopefully video of Charlie almost falling off the basketball game and a video of Cale, Jack and Jaiden dancing with Chuckee. Soooo funny.

Let's Go Fly a Kite
Our playgroup met this morning down at Mission Bay Park for some kite flying fun. Now I wasn't too optimisitc about a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds actually being able to fly kites...but to my surpise everyone did great and the boys had a blast. And who would have known that the $1 kites from WalMart flew the best. We had a few tangles but other than that the kites did all the work.

Charlie snapping pictures
There are times during the day when the best thing to do is just let Charlie do what he wants. The other day he wanted to take pictures and I forgot about it until tonight when I was uploading them and saw all these random snapshots. Here are few that cracked me up.
The last two were taken by Jack...and of course the last one here is of Charlie's "boobies"...LOL

Who's party is this weekend???
It's so great having a large group of friends with kids...but that also means that every weekend there is a birthday party. Last weekend was Elizabeth's party and this weekend was Melody's Barbie Pool Party. The boys swam from 10 am - 5pm and are currently asleep! Woo hoo. Here are some pictures from the parties.
Jack and Elizabeth's dog Harley. He couldn't get enough of him.
Rucky on the slip and slide that was covered with bubbles.

And here are the highlights from Melody's party.

I'm going to stay up all night...
Jack's famous saying right now is "I;m going to stay up all night." Well as you can see from the pictures he doesn't always last as long as he thinks.
